Why is my content formatting funky? Answer: Copy and paste as plain text!
If you're copying and pasting content from another website or from some documents you might find that your formatting might not look right. Colors might be funny or fonts or sizes etc. This is because behind the scenes you're actually copying and pasting formatting code in with that content. To correctly copy and paste in content from another website or document, be sure to use the "Paste as Plain Text" button you'll find in the WYSIWYG.
- Put your cursor into the WYSIWYG text area where you wish to
paste your new content.
- Click on the "Paste as Plain Text" button
- Paste your content into the dialog window text area that will
appear and click the insert button.
- Now, format your content using the WYSIWYG formatting options.
